Hi.

Welcome!  Here is where you can find when and where I am teaching and cooking, or maybe sometimes, what is on my mind. Hope you have a nice stay!

New Year Yoga Practice

New Year Yoga Practice

It's a new year!! It's an easy time to set new goals, evaluate where we are at, what we want in our future, and maybe, decide what we want to change. New year's resolutions here we come. It seems that a lot of people make the resolution to be "healthier" in the new year. This resolution often include some kind of diet, and some sort of exercise.

The funny thing is, often people startup with a bang, then, end up sore and hangry within a week. I am hoping this little offering can help some of you curb the soreness those resolutions may bring.

I too am wanting to find more fitness in my new year, but this year I am taking the tortoise's approach. Slow and steady wins the race! I want to move ( yoga, walk, workout, hike, something) everyday. Somedays I know I will have time for more than others, so, I want to give myself permission to move slow when I need to.

Here is a 17 minute practice that moves slow and can aid a little with digestion. Use it in the mornings, evenings, or just when you want a gentle steady practice.

Enjoy and happy new year!

Irene
